Mr. Tarneja pressurises Anuj to marry Anita within a week. This puts Anuj in a dilemma. Anita tries to defend Anuj, but they do not pay heed. Anuj comes home and tries to tell Manju about it. But Manju misunderstands that they have fixed the `Roka ceremony and begins preparations. Anju then speaks to Simi about it and holds her responsible for the mess. Simi is completely shattered and breaks down. Surinder comes to Rajinders shop and requests him to come along with him to Mumbai as a witness for an old court case. Simi goes to the temple to pray for Anuj. There she bumps into Abhinav (alias Abhi) who gets smitten by her.
